Day 1 - Nairobi/ Tree Hotel

Leave Nairobi in the morning to reach Nyeri in time for lunch. After lunch drive through the forest to a tree hotel of your choice (Ark, Treetops or Mountain Lodge) Dinner and overnight in a Tree Hotel.

Day 2 - Tree Hotel/ Samburu

After breakfast drive north to reach Samburu in the northern Kenya in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive will introduce you to the animals which are found in this area - the reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra and the Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight at the Camp Site.

Day 3 - Samburu

Another exploration of this beautiful reserve where game abounds, especially in the forested fringes of the Uaso Nyiro River which flows gently through the dry landscape. Lunch is followed by an afternoon at leisure, perhaps by the pool. Dinner and overnight at the Camp Site.

Day 4 - Samburu to L. Nakuru

Leave after breakfast and drive past northern tip of the Aberdare mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Visit the world famous bird sanctuary in Lake Nakuru National Park - noted for its huge concentration of flamingoes. Lunch and overnight at budget hotel in Nakuru.

Day 5 - L. Nakuru to L. Baringo

Depart in the Morning to one of Kenya's Great Rift Valley is a freshwater lake approximately 22 km long, by 11 kms wide, with an area of 168 sq kms L. Baringo. It is situated at an altitude of 1100 meters but is surrounded by mountains rising to almost 300 meters above the ambient ground level in places. At the northern end of the Lake lies the dormant volcano, Karosi, 1449 meters high. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 6 - L. Baringo to Maasai Mara

Leave the beautiful lake to drive across the lunar landscape of the Great Rift Valley with packed lunch to Kenya's best known game reserve - the Maasai Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite.

Day 7 - Masai Mara

Full day game drive and you will enjoy searching for animals native to this fascinating and beautiful area guided by your expert driver, who will amaze you with his ability to spot game hidden in the bush. Overnight stay at the Campsite.

Day 8 - Masai Mara

After breakfast return to Nairobi which is reached in the early afternoon, drop off at your hotel/residence.

Day 9 - Amboseli to L. Manyara

After breakfast, drive to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Namanga. Continue to Arusha and enjoy lunch at the Arusha Hotel. After lunch drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Located at the base of the Great Rift Valley, the park is covered with forest, woodland, grasslands, and swamps. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite.
